Jonathan Statham


Jonathan was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2011 and has since worked as a government lawyer and private sector lawyer specifically in the areas of property and commercial litigation.  Jonathan  studied at the University of Wollongong where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts/Laws, and a Masters in International Relations.  Originally from Melbourne, Jonathan spent ten years growing up in Fiji where he developed a passion for water sports and reggae music.

In 2018, Jonathan was awarded captaincy of the Easts Rugby Union Football Club reserves side and is a keen club member.

Jonathan employs a pragmatic approach to the law. Thinking outside the box and getting to the core issues behind disputes is essential to resolving any legal problem.  Jonathan enjoys taking a collaborative approach to his work, often bouncing ideas with colleagues and senior practitioners to obtain the best results for his clients.
